Privacy

Two paragraphs.

Everything you type into StoneQR, including URLs, WiFi passwords, contact details, and uploaded logos, stays in your browser. The site has no server that receives it, no account system, and no database. Downloads are produced on your device. Your current design is kept in your own browser's storage so it is still there when you come back; "Start over" in the design menu (the three dots beside the Content heading) clears it, and so does clearing site data. A "Copy a link to this design" link carries the settings and content in the part of the address after the #, which browsers never send to a server, so it reaches only the people you give it to. The QR code reader decodes the picture on your device and keeps nothing: the picture is not uploaded, and neither it nor what it held is stored.

The only measurement is Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without reading page content. It cannot see what you type, what you upload, or what you download. That is all.

And one on terms

StoneQR is free to use for anything, personal or commercial, and its code is published under the MIT licence. It is offered as is, without warranty. Every download passes a decode check on your device, but printing, scanning apps, and ink are outside our control, so scan a proof with a phone before you order a thousand of anything.
